Welcome, I'm Selene, Editor-In-Chief of the Psychic Times Newsletter. Each month, in this column, I'll be giving you the highlight's of the issue and sharing some personal thoughts. Please read on...

Dear Readers,

Hello! Happy April to you! As I write to you this month, I am literally sailing off into the sunset from Acapulco. It is a beautiful sight and an experience I will always remember, later tonight we will watch the almost Full Moon rise up over the Pacific Ocean. It is our first visit here and who knows if I'll ever make here again so we had a full day sightseeing with a group we met online through Cruise Critics. We wanted to see all that this huge city has to offer, and wanted to feel totally safe given the unrest, crime and violence that has been plaguing different parts of Mexico. Our guide was a lifelong resident named Rosie who gave us a very nice, comprehensive, informative and touristy tour. We drove all over the city stopping for photo opportunities of one scenic view after another. It really is beautiful!

It was an interesting experience visiting the large Catholic Church and sanctuary at the south end of the city on Palm Sunday. It is in high on a hill above everything and feels as though you are at the top of the world. The large cross above the chapel can be seen from about 20 miles away. After that we stopped at the Fairmont Princesa Hotel in the Diamond Zone, it was opulent and beautifully nestled right on the beach with a series of huge pools leading down to the beach that looked like something out of the movies. We saw the rich and fancy neighborhoods with huge homes and saw some of the old and run down areas too. The beaches were beautiful and packed with people having fun spending time with their families on the weekend. The world famous cliff divers at La Quebrada are every bit as spectacular as you would expect. It was exciting and fun. The very first diver was a young lady; the divers begin to train from the age of 10 to be able to accomplish this unbelievable feat. It was definitely worth seeing and is something I will remember forever. Did I mention that it was over 90 degrees here today? It sure is different after the rain we have had up in Northern California so far this year! It is great here in the spring but I don't think I could take the heat in the summer…

We have had a lovely time on this cruise we booked unexpectedly last fall, it was one of those deals you know you will never see again so here we are now on our way to Zihuatenejo tomorrow and Manzanillo the day after that. We will return to San Diego on Good Friday, we visited Cabo San Lucas, Mazatlan and Puerto Vallarta before we arrived in Acapulco today. I've taken you with me on this trip as I've worked on finishing up the articles for this month's issue. It is ironic that so much has happened in our family and we had this trip planned for the Equinox this year. It was impossible to do all the things I needed to do before leaving home with one unexpected event after another. I'll head home to get my taxes done in the nick of time! We are trying to relax and wind down after a very stressful and active few months. This sunset tonight is definitely icing on the cake.

In this month's Eye-Opener Staying Healthy in Changing Times, I share some information on ways you can maintain your balance and build your immune system so you can keep up with the increasing pace these days. I delved into what Uranus in Aries will bring our way in the coming years and will continue to share information on what the upcoming major transits in the Cardinal signs will bring us in the way of challenges and lessons .I've included some information Indigo contributed on using Colloidal Silver to assist in maintaining your health and how to make your own. I also shared my own method of staying healthy with Ginger Immune Booster Tea. Spring is a time to cleanse and work on your health so I hope this article is of interest and helpful to you.

It is a time of resurrection and balance and I do hope this month's issue will bring you information and comfort that you will find helpful in dealing with whatever life is sending your way these days.

Staying Healthy in Changing Times
By Selene
With a contribution from Indigo

Last month we discussed the shifts taking place in our lives and the symptoms we may be experiencing as a part of the ascension process we are in at this phase in history. The pace is going to speed up even more when Uranus moves into Aries on May 27th. It will retrograde and move back into Pisces from August 13, 2010 until March 11, 2011. It will remain in Aries until May 15, 2018 when it enters Taurus; it will retrograde back into Aries from November 6, 2018 until March 6, 2019 when it moves back into Taurus where it will remain for many years.

During the transit of Uranus in Aries, we can expect to see many changes and upheaval in our lives and upon the planet. Uranus is the planet of change, the unpredictable, the unforeseen, of revolution, breaking the status quo. Aries is the Cardinal Fire sign, the start of new cycles, initiation, growth, beginnings. Aries is ruled by Mars the planet that rules life force, energy, sexuality, war, mechanical things. The transit of Uranus in Aries is sure to change the world and our individual lives in many ways. There will be unexpectedd events and many adjustments to be made, our way of life will surely be different during this 9 year cycle and it is important to feel prepared. I am going to write much more about the impact this transit will have on us over the next several months and will offer advice and guidance on how to cope in various ways.

We will be triggered by Uranus in Aries forming a square or 90 degree angle to Pluto in Capricorn and Saturn in Libra, we will experience a lot of intensity this spring and summer due to this alignment of planets. This will be particularly more difficult for those who are born in the early parts of the Cardinal signs of Aries, Cancer, Libra and Capricorn; or those who have heavy influences from other planets in these signs. It is true that we are all feeling this acceleration on many levels, things are speeding up in our lives and the issues we are experiencing are taking a toll on us emotionally, spiritually and physically. It won't be an easy time and 2010 is a year of major transition so it is important that we set an intention to develop and keep healthy habits. Meditation, exercise, prayer, reading to gain knowledge and growth will all help you to maintain balance and equilibrium.

This month, I would like to offer a couple of tips on natural ways to stay healthy and keep your immune system strong so that you are not taken down by illness that strikes at a time when you may feel weak or vulnerable. Stress and dealing with problems in our lives can weaken the immune system and leaves us open to experiencing debilitation and illness. This is not meant to take the place of professional medical care and if you are ill or feeling sick it is important to consult your Doctor or other skilled health care professional to rule out more serious conditions. I would like to share with you a tea that I have made for many years to help bolster my immune system when I am feeling ill or weak. It has kept me from needing antibiotics many times and has assisted my body in being able to fight off colds, flu, viruses and other illnesses that may have kept me from being able to function without a doctor's visit and medication in most circumstances. The following is my personal method that I use to create this tea. When I feel I need it, I make it daily and drink at least one quart a day for 3 days or more to help fight off whatever may be trying to bring me down. I have avoided many "sick days" by using this tea and getting more rest until I feel back to normal.

Ginger Immune Booster Tea

Ingredients

2 inch piece of fresh ginger, peeled and grated
4 cups water
¼-1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
3 cloves fresh garlic, peeled
Juice of 1 lemon
Honey

Directions

Place grated ginger and water in glass or stainless steel saucepan, do not use aluminum. Bring water to a boil, reduce heat to low and simmer for 5 minutes.
Add cayenne pepper, simmer 1 minute.
Add garlic and lemon juice; allow it to steep for 5 minutes.
Strain, add honey to taste. Makes 4 cups, drink at least one quart per day. I like to store it in a quart mason jar, it is good cold too.

This is my equivalent of chicken soup, along with getting a lot of rest and extra water; it has kept me from succumbing to series of sick days, more often than not. . Of course, I do also make chicken soup when I have a cold and it helps as well but I have found that my body will stay stronger when I take a proactive approach when I first experience symptoms rather than waiting for the symptoms to take hold and losing several days of productivity. In these difficult times, we need all the help we can muster to stay feeling well and up to the challenges we are facing.

I'd also like to share the following information contributed by Indigo. She has found great results in staying healthy by using colloidal silver as a supplement to increase her immune system and avoid illness brought on by fatigue, stress and exposure to people with colds, flu and other health concerns. It is a rather expensive supplement but is easy to produce at home and very helpful in warding off illness. Again, please consult your doctor or other health professional for tests and other guidance to rule out more serious problems.

From Indigo...

Colloidal silver is used as a disinfectant, antiseptic, and to help wounds heal faster. Studies have shown that Colloidal silver can kill even the smallest bacteria. In fact the medical community has used silver in different delivery systems like creams to combat infections caused by burns, rashes, wound dressings, in liquid form to combat bacteria associated with urinary catheters and tracheal tubes and its effectiveness is amazing.

There are several products you can buy online or from health food stores, I prefer to make it myself.

To make your own silver water you will need 2 silver strips, distilled water, a glass container, I use a glass corning ware coffee pot, amber bottles, 3 nine (9) volt batteries, 2 alligator clips and 2 battery leads. I'm pretty sure you can buy these anywhere, I took the ones I use from an old clock radio, it held the battery on in case of power outage.

Assembly: connect the alligator clips to the battery leads with wires. Put the 9 volt batteries male to female, and put the battery leads on the ends of the set of batteries. The alligator clips will be holding the silver strips.

Put the distilled water into the glass "cooking pot", put the silver strips in the distilled water, allow to sit for at least an hour, no more than 4 hours, the water should be clear or have a slightly yellow cast to it. When finished pour the water into the amber bottles.

Maintain the silver by wiping them with steel wool. All you have to do is knock the excess left and make the strips smooth.

VERY IMPORTANT: Do NOT use metal for this process, the silver will bond to any metal used in the process and will make the silver ions useless.

To Test: pour 2 or 3 oz into a clear glass, and then add a pinch of salt. The ionized water should turn cloudy. This test can also be performed on any silver product purchased to determine its authenticity.

Please refer back to my article on Spiritual Spring Cleaning from the April 2009 issue of Psychic Times for more guidance on cleansing your body, mind and spirit at this time of year along with a great meditation that I have found to be very effective in finding personal balance. I will have more techniques to share with you in the coming months and do hope that you take the time you will need to do all you can to stay healthy, happy and productive now and in the future.

Meet the warm and delightful Mystic Lucy, currently our only reader on Psychic Access available to you live from the UK. Her accent is charming and her abilities to connect are astounding. She is very adept at tuning in quickly to see just exactly what it is you wanted to know about. Find out why so many people who ask the Angels to guide them to the right reader are led to consult Mystic Lucy. Get to know her in this interview and look for her on Psychic Access where she is available for sessions every day of the week!

Selene: Hello Mystic Lucy! Congratulations on being selected as our Featured Psychic for April. I see so many positive comments on your profile; it looks like you have dozens of regular clients. Please tell us how you came to work with us on Psychic Access and how things are going for you so far?

Mystic Lucy: Hi, thank you, I am most honored to be selected. I found Psychic Access through researching on the internet. I love researching for things whether it's for my work, or if I am going to purchase something. I love working on Psychic Access and am so happy the Angels have guided so many to find me here. I spent a long time checking things out to find the right website to expand my business worldwide and am so glad I followed my intuition which does pay off as we all realize!

Selene: How did you know you were empathic and clairaudient? Did you take classes to learn how to develop your abilities?

Mystic Lucy: Initially I did a 10 week course on the Tarot which I loved. This was a very long time ago now when I was still married. I have been on my own for 10 years now and it was about five years before that. Not only was it the best thing I ever did, but truth to say it totally changed my life!

Selene: Your profile is lovely, lots of interesting information about your spiritual journey. You mentioned to me that you had some help from your guides with writing it? I know it isn't easy writing about yourself!

Mystic Lucy: Yes, because I can do channeling or automatic writing. I tried my profile once and literally gave up, then a few weeks later I was contacted out of the blue by Psychic Access saying, where's your profile we need you! So my very good friend encouraged me and as I sat down to write the pages, very soon I relaxed and the information flowed and flowed, it's very difficult to speak about yourself though, that is what I found so daunting!

Selene: You are an amazing Medium. I know this from our first connection when you suddenly felt my Nanny and my both of parents around me. It gave me chills and so much comfort. How do you do that? Have you always had these abilities?

Mystic Lucy: I only learned these skills over time and with patience. I do not really know how this happens, I only know it does happen but only when the recipient is willing to receive the messages from spirit. I just allow them to speak to me and convey what I hear.

Selene: It is an awesome talent, I was very impressed! Do you have special connections with your own family members on the other side?

Mystic Lucy: My father died when I was only 3 and he sometimes comes through as does my mother who passed away about 25 years ago now! However, it was my father's sister "Aunty Doris" who was the spiritualist Medium in our family and I feel this is where I inherited my natural ability.

Selene: You specialize in relationships, how are you able to tune in to people's situations so quickly?

Mystic Lucy: Over the years I have worked for some very "harsh" U.K. telephone psychic lines where people want immediate answers, and this was almost my training ground if you like. I learned to link in to give very quick answers and it's not the way I like to work as it was all very stressful and it definitely affected my readings then, which is not how I read now. Now I am much more relaxed but I can still make a quick link the moment I hear the client on the telephone!

Selene: How do you feel you are best able to help your clients to understand why their lives are the way they are and what they can do to make changes?

Mystic Lucy: That's a hard one and sometimes with respect, the client may not be ready to hear their lives are as they are because basically the answers are painful. However, I do like to look at the situation as a "whole" like life coaching and if they can see why things happened in their childhood, sometimes it reflects on the type of people we know and relationships now and how we deal with them. A whole life coaching session can be very rewarding and uplifting and it's something I love doing especially if I get it right but it can also be emotional as well, for the client!

Selene: Please tell us more about the guides who work with you and how you connect with them?

Mystic Lucy: Father John is a tall modern man who communicates with me constantly. He gives me clairaudience all the time, especially when we watch the X-files, his and my favorite programme he tells me all the time what's going to happen, and I can hardly stop him!!! Its comical and a bit annoying at times!!

Selene: I understand you have a special connection with the Angels and Archangel Michael in particular. How did you make that connection, and how can people establish a connection with him?

Mystic Lucy: Well, I think it's because I have a fascination with Angels anyway and I have always "talked to and asked them things". I adore Angels and they just resonate with me. I once had to ask if they would help me to get a new computer as I had no money and mine had problems. I did not know where to turn. Then I suddenly thought "I will email my ex-husband who is my friend". As he knew my plight was genuine and we have a friendship he agreed to help me but I know the Angels guided me to ask this. I am not saying they will agree to EVERYTHING we ask, I only know the more clear we are about what we ask for, the more they can grant our requests and its all out there. I believe this is known as "Cosmic Ordering".

Selene: What do you recommend to your clients who want to work with their Angels and the Archangels?

Mystic Lucy: They have to want to do it but I always advise that they read as much as they can about them and study whatever cards are available on the internet. You see, there is that word "research" again!!! Invite them into your life and watch for signs; they will make their presence known to you. Once you call the Angels in, they will begin to work with you, it is up to you to pay attention as to how they will interact, it can be quite subtle. One of the ways I guide my clients is by making them aware of how the Angels do interact in their lives and will assist them when they ask for help.

Selene: You also read tarot, what deck do you use and how did you come to choose it?

Mystic Lucy: I use the Aquarian Deck and I am an Aquarian by birth and proud of it! My new special deck is wonderful and is by a gentleman named John Holland called, The Psychic Tarot Oracle Deck. At the back it recommends people use it with the Aquarian Deck-how weird is that, I did not know this before the cards arrived!

Selene: Here is a fun question for you. Tell me, if you won the lottery and could do anything you wanted to do, what would that be?

Mystic Lucy: All I'd want to do is pay off my debts (which is being sorted out now, another learning point) but basically I would not want it as I am very happy with my life right now. Remember, money can't buy you happiness.

Selene: I just love your accent; please tell us about where you live in the UK and what it is like there. The area you live in sounds beautiful. How long have you lived there and what do you like about being close to the sea?

Mystic Lucy: I have lived in the South of England all my life. I live just a short distance away from the sea and a short distance away from a large forest area which covers many acres (miles). The forest was planted long ago by William the Conqueror. There are deer and we are a large holiday area with many trailer parks for leisure. Very soon in the Easter holidays, is traditionally when visitors come and take over our area so roads and local towns get very busy.

Selene: Do you do Psychic Fairs and expos in your area?

Mystic Lucy: I have done some, and I even ran some myself. Somehow though they were not meant to be since my lady partner deserted me right when we scheduled a show (which was still held) and I knew my vocation was to work with the telephone lines. Somehow this is my vocation, it is sometimes a bit hard on the "voice-box" especially since I suffer a bit from Asthma so I do need to take breaks but we don't give up, and if necessary I just have a bit of time out to rest but I soon bounce back!

Selene: I'd love to hear more about Poppy, your West Highland white terrier. She sounds so cute!

Mystic Lucy: Poppy is a joy in my life, my faithful companion. I got Poppy at the end of my marriage, she is now 10 years old, and like my gentleman friend, she is my rock and my friend. She follows me around everywhere and when I need time out, a long standing friend called "Aunty Sue" who has known Poppy since I first got her, will look after her. They also love each other as does "Henry" who is Aunty Sue's own dog; they just adore each other so she is very special to everyone...

Selene: This is the part that is unscripted, what else would you like us to know about you or to share?

Mystic Lucy: Back in November last year I felt I needed a change. I live in a wonderful mobile home park or (trailer park) as you call them. Things at that place started to get a bit much for me and my Manager of where I live said he had another place available if I wanted it. It meant downsizing from a two bedroom place to one - would I like it, I would have to sort out some of my stuff, it was all a bit daunting, etc. I decided to take the bull by the horns so to speak and accept his offer. Well, 30 bags of clothing (taken to the charity shops) later and a few tears, we moved to my present home.

Then I became sick and yes, some of my special clients did know I was sick and were calling me asking if I was ok, isn't that amazing? Well, I couldn't have done a better thing. Not only is it WONDERFUL, I have a wood and a stream at the back of me with a lot of birds, wildlife etc. We have gradually got it straight and its homey and lovely. What is the point of me telling you this? Well, I know from spirit that I was meant to come here but I had to come here to sort out many many things that that had not been dealt with. Do not ignore things that have to be looked at and dealt with because if you do, you will feel much better inside.

I have to just tell you one weird experience, can anyone explain this?

On one of my many local walks with Poppy up the road, we find a deserted bag sat on a small piece of grass. On further investigation we find its a pair of curtains - a pair of curtains I hear you say? Well remember this was THREE weeks before we moved and I dragged them home and put them in my shed.

Well, they are nearly new and are green and they now hang in my living room after being altered by a kind neighbour. This is a true story and I would love your feedback on this, I know I was meant to come here, so do not ignore signs spirit gives us.

Selene: Yes, I feel it was a sign and validation that your move was the right next step for you, just as your joining us on Psychic Access has been. You have so many regular clients already and I am sure you will have even more new clients flocking to you after this great interview! When are you available for sessions on Psychic Access?

Mystic Lucy: I work throughout the week Monday to Sunday, every day I am available. It's mostly 3 - 9 pm (my time) plus Monday, Thursday, Fridays I work 7 am to 10 am (my time) but I can often be found logged on because yes, it's like a bug, once bitten you can't leave it alone.

I just want to say, a big thank you to Psychic Access for believing in me and giving me this chance!

Once you experience your first session with Mystic Lucy at Psychic Access, you will find that there is so much wisdom she has to share with you as you connect with the Angels through her. Be prepared to hear the truth and to take action on the important and very detailed information you will receive! The Angels connect with you through her voice bringing you love, peace, comfort and valuable information!

April 2010

Highlights:   April will be a month of tests, challenges and adjustments as Pluto in Capricorn and Mercury in Taurus take their stations into retrograde motion; retrograde Saturn also moves back into Virgo. We will be retracing our steps from last fall and forced to deal with what may have been swept under the rug over the past several months. It may feel difficult to get ahead or accomplish much but the foundation we lay out now will bring results if we are sensible and practical. Mercury enters Taurus on the 2nd, making communication more pragmatic. Relationships will be testy as loving Venus the ruling planet of Taurus squares Mars in showy Leo on the 3rd, while Mercury the planet of communication squares Mars on the 4th. Venus trines cathartic Pluto on the 4th; this transit forces us to look deeply at what has troubled us and to find creative ways to resolve personal issues. Mercury squares Pluto on 6th as the planet of transformation goes retrograde. We will surely feel the need to express ourselves and be heard in relationships now. Be careful about the words you choose so that you don't say things you will regret later. Keep on an even keel emotionally for best results now. Saturn the planet of structure slides back into Virgo on the 7th where it will remain until July 22nd. This gives us a chance to further clear up loose ends and downsize as we adjust to new situations and changes in our lives. The New Moon in Aries on the 14th is the strongest New Moon of the year. The energy to initiate change and growth will be very intense at this time and can accelerate your growth and healing. Use this positive energy to launch new ideas and intentions before Mercury goes retrograde on the 17th. Mercury will be retrograde until May 12th so take care of any important business transactions or necessary repairs earlier in the month. Mercury retrograde in Taurus is a time to reconsider our direction and priorities as we let go of what no longer works in our lives. Chiron, the Shamanic healer, enters Pisces on April 19th, where it will remain for most of the next 9 years. This transit will bring great shifts in consciousness and expansion of thought and belief systems. It could herald a time of great healing on the planet. The Sun enters Taurus on the 20th, we will look at what needs to take place in order to implement change and create more comfort in our lives. Gentle Venus enters vivacious Gemini on the 25th; enabling us to improve communication and understanding in relationships while allowing us to regroup after the difficult tests and tribulations early in the month. Saturn opposes Uranus again on the 26th prompting us to embrace the changes implemented over the past year. It is time to get your financial house in order and take care of unfinished business with the Full Moon in Scorpio on the 28th. The Sun conjuncts Mercury retrograde in Taurus during this powerful lunation, it is better to focus on what you want rather than what you don't want as we strive to release trauma and work towards manifesting the vision of what we most desire. Call in what you want to create and avoid fearful or limiting thoughts to navigate through this month.

Aries   March 21st - April 20th
The Sun in your sign until the 20th energizes and empowers you as the New Moon in Aries amplifies your intentions and creative abilities. Put your best foot forward and reap the benefits of these positive aspects. Watch out for negative thinking or depression as this could override the opportunities in front of you. Your everyday routine and thought processes will support what you want to create if you are in alignment with your true intentions. The time has come for changes from a deep level, so don't be resistant. We must let go of what is no longer needed or worn out to make way for what is new. The Full Moon in Scorpio could bring conflicts with a mate or family member over finances, look to creatively problem solve rather than insisting that your way of thinking is the only way to go.

Taurus   April 21st - May 20th
Venus in your sign boosts your self confidence and helps you see the hidden meaning behind the actions of others. You will feel empowered and ready to move forward in consciousness as your personal New Year approaches. The time has come to make a new contract with yourself as to your long term goals and objectives. You will have an opportunity to correct past mistakes and move ahead with a clean slate. Mercury retrograde makes you look at the intentions and impact of others in your life to see if they serve you or detract from what you wish to create for yourself. You may feel more independent and have little patience for those who are needy or co-dependent. The Full Moon in Scorpio illuminates what needs to change in relationships as you look at who you can really trust and who just drains your energy.

Gemini   May 21st - June 21st
Choose your friends and allies with caution this month as the time has come to weed out those people who do not support who you are now. You have been deeply transformed by the energies so far this year and want to rise from the ashes as a new and better version of yourself. You will be connecting with a circle of friends and colleagues who will bring you support and new information. Watch the tendency to be argumentative during the Mercury retrograde period, be willing to listen to the perspective of others to receive the guidance you require to create solutions rather than increase problems. The New Moon in Aries brings happy times with new friends. The Full Moon in Scorpio could bring some drama or misunderstandings, listen carefully to others rather than jumping to erroneous conclusions.

Cancer   June 22nd - July 22nd
Communicate responsibly when it comes to career matters this month as misunderstandings could cause major issues. It is wiser to double check; ask for help or guidance rather than moving ahead without clarity. Life could be difficult for you the first week of the month so take it easy on yourself and don't compound problems by assuming you know what to do. Take it slow and steady in order to avoid feeling overwhelmed or exhausted. The New Moon in Aries could bring new opportunities with your career or profession; caution taken earlier in the month will pay off for you. Be sure to get enough rest, eat well and exercise; balance is the key to making it through this month more easily. The Full Moon in Scorpio will bring new understanding and commitments in relationships if you allow the other person to express their emotions without out trying to second guess them.

Leo   July 23rd - August 22nd
Nature is very healing for you now, get more time outdoors to find balance and break out of your routine. You feel energized by having more to look forward to, so make plans for recreational time as this also enhances your creativity. You will be more productive when you set aside time for yourself and nurturing your spirit even though you are very busy with day to day life. The New Moon in Aries gives you impetus to move forward with projects and taking care of unfinished business before Mercury goes retrograde. You may feel short-tempered this month so choose words with caution as insensitive behavior can bring negative repercussions. The Full Moon in Scorpio could bring issues with finances or taxes, take the time to become fully informed regarding all your options before taking action.

Virgo   August 23rd - September 22nd
You will have to face problems you thought were behind you as Saturn moves back into your sign this month. The key to handling this period is to take a deep honest look at how you ended up where you are as opposed to where you wish to be. The New Moon in Aries will give you insight into ways you can initiate change and a new sense of direction. This is a good time to start a new course of study or travel to places that will help you expand your realm of experience. The Full Moon in Scorpio brings an epiphany to relationships as you take a deeper look at how to express what it will take to meet your needs while validating what others offer you rather than being critical. Exhaustion could be an issue for you this month, be sure to get enough rest to avoid further health concerns.

Libra   September 23rd - October 23rd
People will disappoint you this month as they seem to be very self absorbed and unwilling to compromise. Watch out for misunderstandings that can hurt your feelings, this may be a good time to seek solitude and work on your own mental balance and well being. The New Moon in Aries will encourage you to look at what you need to do to create radiant health and more energy to take care of all the responsibilities in your life. Delegate tasks to others instead of taking on the burden of caring for everyone else when they don't appreciate it. You want to feel validated and appreciated but that could be elusive now, so validate and appreciate yourself. The Full Moon in Scorpio has you analyzing your finances and future financial goals, be honest with yourself about your budget and don't live beyond your means.

Scorpio   October 24th - November 21st
This could be a good time for detoxification, cleansing or making serious changes in your diet as your system feels even more sensitive than usual. Let go of resentment and old wounds, this is not the time to wallow in old emotions but rather to set an intention for taking a new or innovative view of your life. Creating balance regarding issues of healing yourself and how to be of service to others without draining your own energy or resources to the state of exhaustion will be illuminated this month. The New Moon in Aries will empower you to move ahead and get on with your plans. The Full Moon in your sign will bring more stamina as you look at what needs to change in order to create harmony and well being on all levels.

Sagittarius   November 22nd - December 21st
Creativity and romance are on your mind now as you try to bring in renewed energy and update your plans for the future. You long to feel enthusiastic about life as Jupiter your ruling planet, transits Pisces and causes you to question the direction you seem to be taking now. The New Moon in Aries gives you energy to move forward and feel on track again. You may find you have been more sensitive or empathic regarding the moods of others and need to set boundaries with negative people or situations to maintain your natural optimism. The Full Moon in Scorpio could be challenging as you'll need to balance erratic emotions while Uranus in Pisces opposes Saturn in Virgo. As these two powerful planets are squaring your Sun, you could feel out of touch or off kilter. It is better to retreat and contemplate your course of action than to attack or belittle others.

Capricorn   December 22nd - January 19th
Slow, steady progress in your career and financial situation will bring you comfort when you feel you have been put to the test. You approach life with a practical perspective but have found that others don't listen to or value your advice and guidance so it is better to move forward with your own goals and plans for the future. Pluto retrograde in your sign will force you to take practical action on your own behalf. You have given up on trying to change others and simply want to do what it will take to create the situations in your life that you most desire. The New Moon in Aries energizes and enlightens you as you see what you need to do to take action and move forward without fear. The Full Moon in Scorpio will bring challenges regarding joint resources, taxes or estate matters. Seek professional guidance for best results now.

Aquarius   January 20th - February 18th
Communication will be highlighted for you this month, so watch your temper as things said in anger could come back to bite you. Mars in Leo squares your Sun and creates conflict in relationships but if you are willing to compromise, you could come to new levels of understanding and harmony. By being willing to change you can release old patterns of stubbornness and resistance. The New Moon in Aries brings you fresh ideas regarding business and finances, research them and take action before Mercury goes retrograde. You long for change and feel compelled to take action as Uranus your ruling planet opposes Saturn late in the month. The Full Moon in Scorpio can bring power struggles, look at both sides of the equation and don't insist on being right; choose your battles for best results now.

Pisces   February 19th - March 20th
You may feel flooded with new ideas and solutions to create more harmony and flow in your life. It is not ok to be victimized by others and you may find you are reclusive and feel more comfortable spending time alone. This deep self evaluation will bring positive results as you take a stand and put your own needs first. The New Moon in Aries brings you fresh ideas about how to make money and save for the future so you feel more secure by providing for your own needs. Be cautious in communication with loved ones as Mercury retrograde could create major misunderstandings. The Full Moon in Scorpio is an emotional time for you and could enhance either passion or conflict, choose wisely as this could be a time of bonding or of dismantling relationships.

Justice for All Except Me and You

We all like to see justice. Many outside America and a few inside it too, like to see social justice. We are brought up to value fairness, especially in criminal proceedings, in dealings at work and in the ways people become better off. Most of our movies and story books have as a theme the underdog getting justice. We demand justice in our fiction and feel frustrated and unsatisfied if the story fails to deliver it. We assume God is just. We may see some kind of karma as delivering the justice between lives that we do not see happening inside any one life. Justice is not, however, a motherhood kind of word.

It is a rare mother who wants justice for her children. What mothers usually want is the best that can be obtained for her children. Our children are special and we glow with pride when they excel, when they achieve success and when their special quality is recognized and rewarded. If they are deprived of the opportunities we feel they deserve, then we will cry injustice. We do not accord any validity to the idea that our children might get more than they deserve. We value being special higher than we value justice.

We have all done bad things and failed to do the good we could have done. We hope for mercy when we are judged. We would not like to get exactly what we deserve, on those exceptionally rare occasions when we are deeply honest about what we do deserve. We want mercy and forgiveness. We want a second chance, maybe then a third, maybe then a fourth. If karma exists, we would like it to be like in Groundhog Day where we are allowed to keep trying till we get it right. In our present state of development, we are apt also to get away with the bad things we do, especially the little acts of selfishness, vanity, greed and avarice; and we may excuse ourselves on the grounds that we are only being normal, only doing what everyone else does, or only doing what we do in order to survive in the jungle of everyday life.

Never mind saying: "You can't handle the Truth", Jack Nicholson. How about handling real justice?

Justice is a social value but we live our lives as individuals. Therefore we prefer to get special treatment over getting fair or average treatment. If we really wanted fairness, we would all be numbers not names, because all numbers sound the same but all names have resonances, meanings and significances.

Do I say let's stop the hypocrisy and forget about equality, fairness and justice, because only the poorest, the most unloved and the free radicals really want it? No. What I would like is to see the individual need for special recognition being reconciled with the social need for quite a bit more justice than we actually have. I think it was this that Marie Antoinette had in mind when she suggested the cure for the protests of the hungry revolutionaries in 1789 Paris was to let them eat cake. Were she alive now, she might say instead, let them eat fresh, organically grown, vegetables.

Fraternally,

Feraion

Each month the lovely and most talented Salome imparts some Shamanic wisdom and teachings upon us and shares some interesting personal tidbits. Salome was a reader on Psychic Web for many years and can now be found on "Psychic Access" where she is one of the top readers. We hope you enjoy Shaman's Corner.

"A Shaman's Use Of Logical Mind"

A shaman moves energy with their logical mind. Using the sight, they will inspect illnesses and blockages on all levels, physical, mental, emotional, astral and etheric with the logical mind. Then using the logical mind, they will clear. They don't fix things, they clear.

Shamans are 'Spirit Taught' to do this. It is a technique they are required to master on themselves before being allowed to assist others. It is also what they use to move many things; it need be, in the physical, mental, emotional, astral and etheric realms/worlds. This is something that when mastered, will cause a shaman to not even consider wasting energy on fluffy or wasteful things such as demonstrations of power to others, or helping when it's not needed or wanted. Over time, they learn to be very selfish with both their time and energy.

They must to be able to move energy with their logical mind and still be present within their all of their bodies. In this way, they can not only see what is happening, they can feel and sense what is occurring on all levels while being centered and grounded. They can analyze size up and clear. A lot of healers can do this right? No, but shamans can and will...

Many healers will automatically help people when asked, not so with a shaman. They know energy manipulation requires using logical mind energy and if misused or misspent it hurts both themselves and others. This is why you hear stories of shamans using what is called mirror techniques that allow people to perceive what they are doing to themselves and/or others without wasting their own energy. It's also why you notice some shamans wearing mirrors inside or outside their clothing. It's also why many, after resorting to many types of healing, people will often seek out a shaman. Then wonder why they feel so good, uplifted, peaceful, happy and energetic and can bring up this feeling again and again at will. Shamans will hear people exclaim, “Oh I get it!” and think or say “Yes you do!”

Of all the shamanic techniques I was required to learn and perform; this was the most difficult and the one I resisted the most. It doesn't sound so difficult, but it was. Why? Because it required building up, and conserving physical, mental, emotional, astral and etheric energy using instead, the logical mind outside and inside of myself to heal myself. What a chore.

A year before, to the day, I experienced something that would profoundly alter my perception of not only myself but how energy can and should be used. As with all things shamanic, or otherwise, hindsight and insight is often how we gain wisdom. I was given a year to dissect this and revel around with the event.

I was shopping around one bright Spring day inside a lovely little magic shop when the door opened and in stepped this 'stunningly, shockingly strong, authoritative elderly witch and her assistant. Immediately I was struck with curiosity and awe. Never had I seen anyone like this woman! She had the look of a 'Grand Old Dame'. Regally stoic, she moved with purpose. Dressed very expensively, in professionally hand-sewn white silk blouse and black taffeta skirt, her stockings were sheer brown-black and on her feet she wore expensive black leather shoes, with ebony wood heels, they were laced up just past the instep. She had a cane carved with roses and dragons of ebony and rosewood. She wore no jewelry. She wore a thick, perfectly coiffed white wig. Her face was like all our dreams of the old witch, but not wicked, only powerful. An elderly, exquisite witch...

Her assistant went about looking for the item she was searching for. One magazine or a subscription if the magazine was not in stock. The witch took ten steps toward the counter five feet away from me. By this time I had busied myself looking at the crystal balls and trinkets displayed on the glass shelves inside the antique display counter. She began talking to the proprietress of the shop. It was obvious she was a repeat customer. Without turning toward me I felt heard her mind speak directly to me. “You, yes I know you can hear me”. “When you can snap necks with your mind but won't; then you will be given the authority to do so.” I turned and looked at her, and felt her mind move in nodding assent. Then she left, her assistant closing the door behind them.

I will never forget her, and I can still see her clearly in my mind to this day. Is she one of my guides? No, but she did deliver a message. Did I need to hear that message at that time? Unlikely, but it was her choice of when to deliver, not mine, nor my guides.

That it took total intent with the logical mind to for her to do this, I had no doubt. The fact that she was elderly but had clear intent was obvious. She wasted no energy, as mentioned, not even with her mind. Did she enjoy doing this? I know she did. Such a strange message I 'knew' somewhere deep inside to be true? Did it feel good to me at that time? You bet it did. I remember thinking of course I would never do that. I can be trusted, if ever comes the time I need to do this. Besides I can already do this, I just don't. HA! Why would I need anyone's authorization to do this when I can already do this? This was a little deep and it was a bright Spring day so I left the shop and drove home, feeling an earthy giddiness about meeting this witch. And she talked directly to me?!!! Oh was I ever so special. I tried once or twice to bring her up in my mind later on, but finally gave up 'knowing' she wasn't interested and that was silly of me to try and 'channel her'. Guess I wasn't so special after all, except that one time. After that, the words she spoke to me using her mind would come up from time to time but nothing more. Only when I was angry would that message echo faintly.

Moving ahead in time one year later:

My main guide showed up to train me in the use of my logical mind. I was physically and mentally tired and only wished to sleep. This guide knew exactly when to push this exercise. I was required to wake up, stretch my physical body with my mind, and make a gargantuan effort. It felt like 'shamanic boot camp'. I remember thinking; I must have been crazy to agree to be a shaman. I also remember thinking that it can only get worse from here. Can't it? Well that led into a sharp realization I was not in charge of my logical mind. Which meant I was also definitely not in charge of my body, my emotions, my astral sheath or etheric body. Ouch!

My guide easily demonstrated the technique to me. Then strongly urging me on, taking me by the hand and saying “like this” He showed me over and over by demonstrating but would not allow me to 'do it another time' when I felt like it. I felt so tired and experienced all kinds of anger and resentment and frustration. The memory is one of me thinking my guide would give up and cut me some slack. No such luck. I knew this, and what a drag realizing I would have to do it and do it then.

Why did my guide choose that particular time and place? I have no idea. It was their decision, not mine.

How long did this take? I would say about 2 hours start to finish. After this was completed, I was very peaceful and knew with no doubt I could achieve this afterwards without a split second's thought or hesitation if need be. Funny thing is, looking back, it was never again required that I do this on myself. Why? Because I had done it, therefore I knew I could do it for others, and myself as well, if need be. There comes a certainty with certain shamanic lessons that is only taught once, then put into practice.

The next morning I woke up with the image of this witch in my mind. Was it her appearing to me? No, it was a remembrance of our encounter one year ago on a bright Spring day. Her energy was that strong. So strong that no, she didn't bother coming to me in the astral. Why should she? The imprint was there. Clear, strong, precise. Basically she came shopping, looking for what she needed, and surely knowing I was there. I left energy all over the place for her to follow that day.

What came about that day was I knew there was a connection and it had to do with using the logical mind to save energy in work and in play. The logical mind is a marvelous thing if used properly. But it also breaks things apart physically, mentally, emotionally, astrally and etherically for good or bad.

Something very interesting to think about... Best done on a bright Spring day.

Salome

"Re-Direction"

As the month of March draws to a close, I am packing up my home in Colorado and heading for the shores of the Mississippi in southern Minnesota. I am busy packing and planning and downsizing all the things I can do without. And that is what brought me to the subject of this month’s article. Come along and share with me what Spirit has in store.

If you are dealing with a heartache and trouble in your personal life, I am here to tell you there is a way to get through it. The simplest way is to communicate, verbally with the other person. Most of the people I speak to have the hardest time just doing that.

It will come with time and learning who you are, to be able to say what you need to say to get the pain to go away. If it looks like a duck, walks like a duck and has feathers on its butt... it is not a horse... most people have no idea that all the answers lie within them, the answers to the whys, what fors and how comes. Most personal relationships fail, I believe, based solely on lack of communication. This is to include relationships with your family, children, co-workers and even with pets.

We have been taught through the years that if a child is having a temper tantrum, to re-direct them onto something else. The point of doing this is to get them off what is bothering them and onto something that will calm them. The same thing applies to heartache in a relationship.

Re-direct your approach to what is wrong and see what transpires. If you are not focused on just the hurt and pain, and realize that you have the power to change how you are reacting... all else will fall into balance. Now I know that there are relationships out there that are detrimental to one's physical health... and by all means I do not suggest you try to simply "talk" to an unbalanced, crazy out of control alcoholic or drug addict. That is for the law to handle... but even in those cases, you should center down and know what your limits are and stay in the safety zone. I am speaking rather of the miscommunications in relationships of a more simple nature. Most people spend a lot of their lives feeling misunderstood and unappreciated. They feel like a piece of furniture that is expendable. My dears I am here to tell you, although it hurts, that's on you. This is why I try to teach the life lesson, “Say what you mean and mean what you say”.

If something is outmoded, that means it no longer works. I suggest that if you have not been able to communicate your needs, wants and desires properly... then the way you communicate is outmoded. We all know if something doesn't work, we either have it fixed or replace it. So therefore, look at is like you would your car or your computer and fix the trouble. Unfortunately, most people are waiting for the other person to "fix" the trouble before they are going to put forth a better effort themselves. That to me feels much like a stale mate and in that case, nothing can move.

My point is simple, take stock in your every breath, the sound of someone sleeping beside you, that funny tummy feeling when you know they are coming home, the noise in the house, loud or otherwise, that lets you know you have wonderful children in your midst…all the things you don't say are exactly what I am asking you to learn how to say. Instead of staying in the "butt hurt" zone... get a reality check and see what your part is. Grab it and mold it the best you can and then hit it hard in the re-approach.

All things will come together when you implement the changes that are necessary in your life. I know there are circumstances in every case that you might think I have no idea what I am talking about…well, I say to that…"pee-shah"... that is a scapegoat excuse to stay in that place where you are "owed" for the other person to fix it. I am simply suggesting that magic may need a little helping hand now and then... and a well balanced, in touch person has the control of "self" to make things happen.

Just give it some thought…and see what it looks like on the other side when you do. Last thought for the day... apologize even if you think you are not wrong... and mean it, give yourself a gift that you have been putting off, give an extra hug to an unruly child and of course, as always, be kind to yourself first.

I will be writing to you next month from a new home, full of new possibilities and abundance. I look forward to writing to you next month from a place where I can breathe better and I am happier for it.

Until next time my dears.....

Blessings in peace and love,

Miss Peg

Each month, we randomly select, from among the e-mails received from you, one person to be featured in our prayer circle. All we need from you is a paragraph or two about the person--and yes it can be yourself--along with his/her name, age and place of residence. Use the "Submit Request" link above. Oh, and don't think that only illnesses are worthy of prayers. It can be a strong desire, a job you're anxiously hoping for, or anything that keeps you up nights wishing on the stars. You'll be amazed just how potent the power of prayer really is.

For: Daryn the Seer

I was recently diagnosed with vocal chord cancer. For this reason I have not been able to help guide others for 2 months or more. Please submit your prayers / chants, etc. for my healing. I need my voice back so I can once again assist those seekers that call on me.
